Cheniere executives highlighted the importance of U.S. LNG for global energy security and stability at Gastech 2026, the world’s largest annual conference and exhibition on natural gas, LNG and hydrogen, held Sept. 14-17 in Bangkok.
Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Anatol Feygin headlined two strategic panels, and Yingying Zhou, Vice President of Origination, and Sam White, Vice President of Commercial Portfolio Management, also represented Cheniere on the conference stage. Additionally, Cheniere held productive meetings with current and prospective customers and business partners.
On stage, Feygin emphasized the crucial role Cheniere and U.S. LNG have played in helping the world meet its growing energy needs, especially amid the second major supply disruption in four years due to the conflict in the Middle East.
“We provide an energy solution that is destination-flexible,” Feygin said. “The world would be in a much more difficult situation if the U.S. had not come along and provided this supply, not only at scale, but with flexibility.”
Feygin also touted Cheniere’s industry-leading climate strategy and progress on actions to better understand and improve the environmental profile of its LNG.
“Our product can meet the three challenges of security of supply, affordability and environmental performance,” Feygin said.
