Cheniere is now offering Sellers of LNG a low risk and low cost opportunity to access North American markets for the period beginning January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2010. Utilizing capacity at Cheniere's Sabine Pass LNG terminal and relationships with downstream customers, Cheniere is able to offer our suppliers market access without the need for a long-term commitment or the need to set up a marketing organization in the United States.
Cheniere's Sabine Pass LNG terminal is currently under construction in Louisiana. Strategically situated close to the open water, at the heart of North America's demand and pipeline network, and with a deepwater channel, the Cheniere LNG receiving terminal offers unbeatable reliability, optionality, liquidity, and flexibility.
Cheniere's LNG Gateway Program™ takes flexibility to even higher levels by allowing sellers to select anything from single cargo deliveries to three year term commitments and lets sellers name their price.
Available slots under the program are limited and prioritization is based on economics and date of request. Suppliers are encouraged to obtain a password, review the Master Agreement, and nominate desired slots early to preserve their positioning. Of course customers and interested parties are always encouraged to call Cheniere directly.
Cheniere looks forward to providing suppliers with a new channel into North America and to providing North American gas buyers an easy access to new global supplies.
