Jean-Marie Bourdaire is an international energy market consultant currently serving the World Energy Council as the Director of Studies. From 1995 to 1999 he worked for the International Energy Agency as Director, Long Term Cooperation and Policy Analysis in Paris where he was responsible for studies on the energy policies of member countries, energy diversification, energy, and environment, and long-term energy analysis. From 1970 to 1995 he was employed by Total where he held positions as a geophysicist, coordinator for research and development for worldwide exploration and ultimately Director of Economic Studies in the corporate office in Paris. Mr. Bourdaire is the author of Economic Decision Making, a book published in French, as well as the author of many papers published in, or presented to, international forums. He is a member of the French Energy Observatory Council (Ministry of Economics, Finance and Industry) and a member of the editorial board of the Revue de L'Energie.
Philippe van Marcke de Lummen became an advisor to Cheniere Energy in 2005. Prior to this he was Chairman of Tractebel LNG Trading S.A. During 2003 - 2004 he served as special advisor to Tractebel S.A., in the Energy Division of SUEZ, where he advised and coordinated the development of Tractebel's natural gas strategy. From 2001-2002 he served as President & CEO of Tractebel LNG Ltd. in London where he coordinated Tractebel's LNG activities worldwide, developed a long term LNG supply portfolio for Tractebel, and optimized the value of its shipping fleet through the negotiation and execution of short term transactions. From 2000-2001 he served as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Portfolio Management Tractebel North America. From 1999 - 2000 he served as President of the Strategy Committee, Head of Merger and Acquisitions Tractebel Energy Marketing, Inc./Tractebel Power, Inc. During 1996 - 1999 Mr. van Marcke founded and developed Tractebel Energy Marketing, Inc. in Houston. Philippe van Marcke joined Tractebel in 1984 as Assistant to the Executive Director - International Subsidiaries, in Brussels, and later as Vice President of American Tractebel Corporation in New York to initially manage the company's venture capital investments. Mr. Philippe van Marcke holds a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Brussels University and a post graduate certificate in B.A. from the Ecole de Commerce Solvay.
